Reluctantly Saw "Princess Bride"

I finally watched The Princess Bride, all the way through, after yet another one of my female friends literally handed me the DVD.

I said "Pull my finger!!"

I admit, it was pretty good. Very good actually. It had one of the most profound movie quotes I've heard in a while:

Westley: "Life is pain, Highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something."

    Love the "tone" of the humor in that movie. Really great movie. So absurd, and yet still believably emotional.

  3. Easily in my Top 40. Another great line: 'Never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line!" I should know, I've dated one.
